a.k guy again and today based on your fans suggestion we’re gonna take our full-auto Ak-47 and bury it out here for a month and then dig it up and see how hard it is to get it to run again. So guys just to reiterate. This is the same gun that we blew up with black powder did an attempted meltdown with should have a bunch of food and bleep in the back of the receiver to try to see if we could stop it and did a full-on mud test and basically after just a little bit of light cleaning dunking the old rain barrel and spraying some WD-40 on it. This is the same gun and has not been able to be stopped so far nothing has been able to permanently stop this gun so just a quick reminder.

We ran a full mag dump and that was after the mud test video that really kind of gunk that up for a little while but we’re just going to run a couple rounds out here today and prove that this is still functional as you can see UK so we are going to dig a hole drop her in it and then dig her up in a month and we’ll see see what the damages really we’re just gonna see what the hell happens. I think we’ve struck Kalashnikov. You see anywhere in the south. If you dig deep enough right above the water table is the firearm table and you just find all sorts of cool guns under there. I’m not try not to scrape the bleep out of my wood either looks like I was slightly off-center, so let me dig away some of this wall here the plastic seems I can tell that pretty well not surprisingly that’s why you know the oceans are dying or whatever the bleep UK saying nowadays see about the rest of it.

Wow check that out look at how Wow how much condensations on the bottom of that gun so. Can see a little bit of rust here. There’s definitely a little bit of surface rust on the gas tube on the barrel because I think part of that was because that one time we baked it This so the Seracote was never like they never put a finishing coat on this one because they were this is one of our demo guns said we were in a real hurry to get it back and start taking photos and bleep So we were able to cook off the surco when we did the full auto attempted full auto meltdown so I think that’s why on the barrel here because if you look on the receiver and the dust cover it’s an amazing lack of rust Considering there’s literally water built up on the gun itself. Yeah that’s nice click that dirt right on me.

Theres A Lot Of Water Buildup.

On the gun itself, the the wood is starting to get a little moldy. You can actually see there’s like there’s actually hair hairy strands coming off of the off of the woods, so that’s probably not super great for it. Those are the hit marks right scratch. The bleep out of the wood with my shovel that’s nice so here’s the big question I guess that everybody’s gonna be wondering at home does it shoot let me clear any potential more obstructions and then we’ll find out out look inside some of those components We’ll take this fully apart Once I shoot it.

I Dont Want To Field-Strip It

first and kind of ruin. The results so we’re gonna field-strip it after we shoot it for the first time see how well it works after being buried I can see from the bottom here. There’s a Little bit of surface rust on the parts, but I guess we’ll see how well this works so without further Ado let’s grab some ammo load up that same mag and see if we can’t get some rounds to run through all right so not a full mag but just enough to see a fiddle cycle. I think we’re gonna know everything we need to know within the first couple rounds so let’s see let’s see if it runs they try it semi-auto first and it’s like some miracle of God that actually works. We’re gonna switch it to full auto and just see what happens that’s concerning like I think it’s in battery, but there’s just a lot of sand there whatever you guys clearly don’t give a bleep about my safety and on some level.

No she works alright so now that we’ve shot it and it remarkably works let me take off my nerd specs first of all do a little field strip here take off the dust cover. See there’s a lot of rust that’s built up in here.

moisture has gotten in on the spring not as much as I would have thought Oh Yeah actually if you go into. That bolt carrier there’s a lot of rust There’s that just look at that that’s bleep gross so I’m gonna have to clean the inside of this carrier pretty good no real rust on the piston. It looks like that’s kind of neat. Some of it might have actually been shot off just now. I didn’t think about that but a little bit of surface rust building up on the bolt carrier.

Weve Got Obviously Down There The Where

the spring assembly goes into the bolt carrier that’s gonna be completely nasty and very difficult to clean so I’ve got that little surface rust on the stem of the bolt. Most of it seems to be wiping right off. So nothing major firing pin is a little sticky. So normally when you are playing with a K and it doesn’t have a spring-assisted firing pin. You just want it.

if there’s a little bit of gumminess there It’ll actually stick not a super big deal, but you definitely Don’t want that but even that looks like it’s working itself out a little bit you can see there’s a lot of rust surface rust built up on the rear trunnion. The selector. The actual part on the inside that does the work of the selector in the and the receiver that’s got rust on it Disconnectors got Otto Sears got rust The springs are really rusty on this side of it. We’re all a moisture built up you could see where some of the access pins we’re getting some rust built up around them. I think some of the rust was building up in here and seeping out through here and you know that’s where a lot of this seems to be coming.

I Thought I Was Gonna Pull

this up and it was gonna look like a Somali pirate gun. It was never gonna run right the same we’d have to sit there on a wider wheel and just get as much rust off as we could, but honestly. I mean this thing just needs a really good bath and some UK and I think she’s gonna look almost as good as she did before we put her in the ground so that’s kind of remarkable to me. So a lot of you guys been asking pretty much since the will a take a series and with the aka ultimate Mud test video you’ve been asking for a detailed cleaning video of an A K and really I don’t clean my Aks a lot kind of lazy.

I If I Need To Swap Out A

barrel. I just swap out a barrel. You know one of those things but these right here this this I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a better candidate for a deep clean on an a case. So I’m gonna have to clean it now take all the internals out and just show you.
