CeO Bob Schaebeck announces Disney’s new Star Wars Theme interactive hotel, which costs up to six thousand dollars per stay is sold out for its first four months and now only a few months after that big announcement that they were so proud of now. March couple dates available in march but April and may almost completely wide open because Lucasfilm and the people at Disney continue to show that they have no idea what they are doing with Star Wars.

We’re doing a deep dive on galactic Star Cruiser adventure ahead of its opening in march. After reading some feedback from fans, I’m ready to unpack my feelings on where this experience is headed as previews dropped towards the end of 2021 Star Wars. Fans worldwide responded with what can only be described as disappointment or laughter that that was a lot of it. of us weren’t disappointed We were excited because this looks so terrible.

it comes to a fan base like Star Wars you’re bound to get a vast range of opinions. You got your og fans that have been card carrying members since the 70s next gen fans caught the bug when the prequel trilogy emerged after all this Star Wars knew it would change forever when Lucasfilm was acquired by Disney creating a whole new category. The Disney Star Wars fan that is true it is a completely different category. I don’t disagree millions of new people discover this timeless battle between the light side and the dark side with the sequel trilogy Force awakens Last Jedi rides, a Skywalker and you add Rogue one and solo Lastly. You have galaxy lovers who have only become familiar with the franchise through the parks themselves thanks to the opening of Star.

He walked right by it and didn’t even know that that was supposed to be Star Wars land look at this picture that he put up this picture still hurts thinking I was standing in front of the new Star Wars Galaxy’s edge that is hilarious and even jay over on Park.

It seems like that’s what they’re going for with the Star Cruiser hotel too because hey you get to go to Star Wars Galaxy’s edge while you’re there. I guess that makes sense but let’s continue Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge was a groundbreaking jump from watching this far away world unfolding our theater screens to being a living breathing experience that can stimulate all our senses even though it was bumpy to say the least fans had mixed reactions when it came to the authenticity of the lands and how immersive they felt when visiting I couldn’t help but wonder what exactly were you expecting and here it is. This is where the Disney Star Wars Shields and the Disney Shills start to try to. Blame you for having your expectations you shouldn’t have high expectations for this what you were expecting to go to Galaxy’s Edge and see something that had to do with Star Wars.
You Were Expecting To See Original
trilogy characters maybe Luke or Han or Leia maybe maybe Darth Vader right maybe Yoda maybe. All these different characters that people actually care about and want to see not the garbage from the sequel Trilogy, but that’s all it is at Galaxy’s Edge no matter how you look at it. This is a section of Disney park that can only be pushed so far while remaining appropriate and enjoyable for families and individuals Not unlike other themed areas like cars, land avengers and toy story land. The idea that the area needs to just be enjoyable for fans as it is for someone who walks in have you never experienced that. storyline or character before it’s Disney, it needs to be inclusive and gentle.
I I Do Agree That You
need to be able to go in there with families and stuff like that But I mean Star Wars. I wouldn’t describe Star Wars as a gentle franchise. I would describe cars and toy story as a gentle franchise. I wouldn’t describe that for Star Wars. I mean you got Luke Skywalker that saw the charred remains of his family saw a guy get his arm cut off.
You See Grand Moff, Tarkin And Darth Vader
together threaten torture Leia organ and then blow up a planet right you see tons of people die and this this is not a gentle franchise. It is all ages appropriate, but it’s not gentle and the very fact that you’re trying to explain it that way just shows you don’t understand Star Wars either. Moving on to the Star Wars Galaxy, Star Cruisers Voyages, I’ve heard the same complaints echoing throughout the Empire, mostly from Og fans. The World Word is the New Star Wars experience style resort expansion lacks the gritty war-torn tensions. Some people are looking for again.
I Get It The Apocalyptic Originality.
The first installment was volatile and political. However, that is one tall task to implement a family-focused all-encompassing sensory experience on day one. I can’t help but think that sometimes people need to adjust their expectations of what is possible and viable for disney to accomplish the bottom line is you aren’t. In fact a jedi so nothing will make you feel 100 like you are no amount of grungy worn in detail in the walls will change that at the end of the day you’re in orlando you know a good comparison for this I believe is.
