Whats Going On Guys So Every Single

weekend. I always cover a big movie, Whatever the big movie of the weekend is or maybe there’s a couple big movies and I spend a lot of the week watching films on streaming films that I never feel like. I have the time to talk about films that I wish I had the time to talk about and I can’t really make separate videos of a lot of these. I just don’t have the time in my life to do that but it would be cool if every once in a while I just covered movies that I thought perhaps flew under people’s radars or that I just loved and want to talk about in a video in which I can group them together and so I’d like to talk about some hidden gems. I recently found on streaming and all of these movies are currently available on the streaming service bundle AmC plus and I must say this isn’t like a countdown or like a list of best to worst or something it’s just you know there’s no particular order here.

The First Movie Im Going To

talk about is the mortuary collection. When it comes to horror anthologies. There’s a lot of them and most of them are unfortunately not very good it’s just a fact of life. You know me. I blumin love horror but I I wish that more horror anthologies were good.

The Mortuary Collection Is Easily One

of the best i’ve ever seen. The film is written and directed by Ryan Spindell. He made every single segment in the movie that’s one of the reasons why I think it works so well. One of the issues. issues with horror anthologies is that you have a lot of different filmmakers all making their own vision and they try to stay within a theme or a feel, but you can’t always force them all to be the same.

But In The Case Of This Film,

it’s one person and so the vision is going to be very cohesive and it is also it works so well about this movie is clancy Brown as Montgomery Dark, an eccentric mortician who recounts several macabre and phantasmagoric tales that he’s encountered in his distinguished career. The film has a great way in to all of the different segments too by having him train someone who might work at the mortuary. He can tell her about all the worst and most horrific stories while he goes to dead bodies in certain areas of the mortuary that make him want to talk about. These tales it’s really fun it’s well made if you haven’t had a chance to see it yet I highly recommend it. The whaling is one of the best Korean horror films of the past few years.

This Movie Was Blumin Haunting.

I loved every second of it and it was a film that somehow changed like every 20 minutes. It’s a very long film and it never quite decides what it is or maybe it just knows exactly what it is but has a great way of hiding that from you at times. You’re watching a film that’s strangely funny only then to be horrified and incredibly disturbed, and it also has long sustained sequences of terror, especially a ritual scene and yet as I said somehow still finds a way to crack a joke here and there it’s easily one of the most complex horror films. films I’ve seen in a really long time.

The Basic Plot Is That A

stranger arrives in a small village and a mysterious sickness starts to spread amongst the village. A policeman who’s drawn into the incident is forced to solve the mystery in order to save his daughter, which is like the most log-lining way of summing up what this movie is, but obviously it’s a lot deeper than that if you haven’t seen the whaling please do check it out it’s really damn good slacks is easily one of the strangest movies I’ve ever seen so obviously you know it’s probably right up my alley. Just the plot alone is so blumin bizarre it’s about a possessed pair of jeans that begins to kill the staff of a trendy clothing store. So it’s up to a girl named Libby, an idealistic young sales clerk to stop. Its bloody rampage Obviously this is a comedy horror film, but it’s inspiring to me for a few different reasons.

Its Very Short.

It’s like 77 minutes long. It’s all in this store and the back hallways of the store and it got made so obviously. There’s a lot of horror filmmakers or just filmmakers in general who are looking to find a story like this because it does have deeper themes to it. It has some things to say, but the film is so contained and so doable from a budgetary standpoint that this is the kind of thing that a lot of writer directors are looking for right now and it’s very hard to figure this out and the film’s very funny and tongue.

-In-Cheek And It Knows Exactly What Its Trying To

do. Sometimes it slightly overreaches its boundaries and doesn’t quite meet its ambitions but i thought. extremely unique and shows a very promising talent. In director Elza Kephart. The Salvation came out in 2014 and stars the great incomparable mads Mikkelsen.

I Will Watch Anything That Man Does.

The film takes place in 1870s America when the fury of a notorious gang leader is unleashed when a peaceful American settler avenges the death of his family, then as his cowardly fellow townspeople betray him he is forced to hunt down the outlaws alone. You don’t get too many films like this at all anymore. Westerns that are incredibly simple. There’s a person who wants someone dead or a group of people dead and they go to kill them.

Weve Seen It Many Times Thats Probably

one of the reasons there’s a big risk with these films potentially being incredibly awful and cheesy and the salvation is able to pull off something that most of those films. can’t and that is a true connection with its lead character. Mads Mickelson is one of the most versatile actors ever. He can be the horrifying villain of Casino Royale and he can be the man who’s been wronged and someone you deeply care about like in the Hunt but he’s also somehow insanely hilarious and I don’t understand how he does that he’s a genius and for that reason you greatly care for his character in the film and you just want to see justice served and last but not least the McPherson tape. This film has an extremely strange history to it.

Its A Movie That Was Shot

on VHs and it was made to look like an alien abduction and all of the copies of this movie were lost at one point. The filmmaker tells a great story if you ever get the chance to watch the interviews he’s done. He basically sold the movie to a shitty bootleg company and they lost all copies of it. In this horrendous warehouse fire except for a few that had been given out as screeners on VHs and those few VHs tapes got spread around UFo conventions until the filmmaker heard back that people were somehow watching his movie and they thought it was real now All these years later it’s been restored. It’s available on streaming and blu-ray right now and while it’s obviously a scrappy movie that some guy made thrown together really quickly over the weekend that’s the kind of stuff that like every filmmaker does at some point and yet those movies usually get watched by them and their friends, and they stay on a VHs or a DVd and.

Never Seen Again This Guys Movie Became

a bit of a strange little legend and it’s definitely worth seeing especially if you love things like the blair witch that have that sort of is this real or is this not real quality to it Now naturally you know it’s shot on VHs and some people made it over the weekend and it’s it’s. It’s very shoddy in that way, but there’s a charm to it and I would recommend checking it out if you like those kinds of movies As I said at the start.
