so excited to share with you a little snippet of our interview with the one and only Pennsylvania senator Doug Mastriano Doug was live with our insiders club members and we got to ask him questions about the Pennsylvania elections that stripped their left-wing governor of his emergency powers. It’s actually been a several months now I guess since since maybe right before the election. So we had a great interview and and Senator Doug gives us the whole back story to how he ended up becoming going from basically a retired army Colonel professor Phd author for Master’s degrees and now we end up becoming a senator. But I Am So Excited

about what happened in Pennsylvania on Tuesday as I understand it Pennsylvania is now the. officially the first state where the citizens voted to strip their governor of emergency powers, What do you think of what happened on Tuesday well? Perhaps it could give us a quick synopsis of what happened on Tuesday, and then give us a sense of the message. It sent to Harrisburg and the message it’s it’s sending to the nation so as everyone remembers. This time last year the reopen movement started in Pennsylvania and there was rallies and of course the indignant self-righteous left you know masteriana was irresponsible super spreader event no social distancing Blah Blah Blah and of course fast forward a couple weeks and in Philadelphia hundreds of thousands people gather and even even a renowned outlet of media outlet said No we we checked it out nobody got coveted even though they were you know looting together and partying together and being very reckless you. and not social distancing, so it took a lot of effort but together and this is not political speech.

This Is A Fact Myself And

and somebody in the house ran tried to run legislation to reopen the state to put the power back in the hands of the people, and it was pretty difficult to actually convince members of the Senate to run that and so the people started calling their senators and one senator that hadn’t really taken a position over the weekend a weekend this time last year he told me about 5000 people called his office and he was so impressed by that that of course he he became an enthusiastic supporter of the reopen movement. So then we move the legislation Early June it passes and it goes to the governor and the next day he’s very indignant and pissed off and you know he’s. Like how dare they take my power away? I mean I’m like where’s the checks and balances Is this a republic or you know monarchy and he vetoes it and and very few Democrats are willing to break from their party, and we you know he he overrides us and I’m sorry the veto stays and this so then we’re trying to think in a Senate how can we try to put this in the hands of people, So Senator Kim Ward from Westmoreland County our majority chair now she came up with a referendum. We worked real hard to get that moved we’ve passed it in two sessions got it on the ballot and how great to see the people came out and said Yes we want the power back in their hands and at the hands of the governor. It’s a big deal and as you rightly said.

Steve We Are The First State To Strip

away the powers of course it’s not without twist The governor. You know power is a hard thing to give up and of course he he today. He decided he’s going to add another 90-day extension. So I’m kind of at the point where I was last year actually when we with 836 passing last year. I’m like let’s let’s just walk with three people let’s reassert our authority as the general assembly and we didn’t and I I do hope that we’ll stand again and say you know what governor you already had your 21 days.

You Know 400 Days Ago And

let the people just live their lives and leave us alone because now it’s no longer about positives. Now it’s about losing federal money and I’m like I thought it was flattening the curve and it keeps on changing. Yeah! Yeah and but the yeah! It’s almost it seems whatever the wolf does at this point is irrelevant. The message that was sent was so clear was it 54 of the votes if I recall yep Yeah that’s a yeah and you know in a in a purple. I mean I in many ways a blue state just with the with the urban vote.

Its Thats Thats Astonishing We Did A Live

stream on it the other night and someone said only 54 and I’m like dude. I mean you have you have you know you have manhattanites actually living right now and and and you know Eastern Pennsylvania and Newtown and so on as a as a sleepover place to go and work in New York. I mean there’s an overflow New York crowd here to get 54 is awesome that’s astonishing. I mean that’s especially when you. consider how much money the governor and his proxy spent on putting out misinformation about this returning to power to people.

I I Could Not Believe The Things

they’re saying and in fact, there’s a husband and wife team that that worked for him and the wife had retired a month or two ago. She actually was trolling me on my facebook page and she and her husband with state salaries combined making quarter million dollars and so I’m like. This is a problem when you know a close associated governor is trolling a state senator. You know masteriano’s wrong. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about like really you know she’s been living off the government.

You know all her life and is gonna ride off into the sunset. But the people thank God had more sense than the governor does evidently and they said you know what. We’re done with this? I don’t know if you saw just a couple of weeks ago. There was a big election in Madrid Spain and it was it was between the the more rightist party that was putting more or less on the ballot that if you vote us in we’re going to end this lockdown nonsense and they and they won and overwhelmingly in a landslide actually in many respects and so that’s fantastic yeah you’re seeing it everywhere you really are you’re seeing it everywhere in Hartley Pool um in in northeastern England.

In Durham County Its Been A Its

well for us would be blue for them. It’s red right. You know it’s a reliable labor seat for like ever and they just shocked pundits and politicians alike by by voting in Conservatives and one of it was was to to end this lockdown and so. The the the sentiment is there on both sides of the the the pond as it were so I think you’re I think you’ve tapped into a trend here. This is this is great.

You Know And Then We Also Had Two

elections in . The Dallas Texas” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Fort Worth area over the last few weeks one special election for Texas’s sixth district that’s been sort of purple as I understand or trending blue I think President Trump had only won by about three points there back in November and and the Democrat got shut out of that of that is it susan Wright is that Trump endorsed her and so for the one off it’s two Republicans. The Democrat didn’t even make it in the runoff than you had in um. Oh I forget it South Lake um, which is a Dallas Fort worth suburb the crt whole.
