of Shelby Oaks and We’re currently involved in all kinds of things production-wise and it’s really exciting and fun and awesome and I hope you guys like it when you see it but I wanted to make sure you guys got a production update on what we’ve been up to lately. Yeah we’re less than two days out at this point so you know right now it’s just kind of trying to mitigate those last things that that are popping up it’s credit to. For how he’s written this so we can shoot fast and get a lot of pages done in certain scenarios, but then we also have a number of big beautiful set pieces that we really want to kind of show the night before.

and the script pages that we’re going to be shooting to make sure there’s nothing I forgot about any small nuances that I want to make sure I communicate to the actors or to barrett. Our cinematographer Andrew Scott Baird really just checking all those those things and and kind of praying that there’s there’s no last-minute random problem that comes up there’s going to be compromises. There’s going to be things that we miss. But I think we’re in a good enough place to get close to how I see it fingers crossed that actually happens we’ll stay on the. A little bit because of the rain all right guys We’re gonna come out to the awning.

We Decided To Work With Chris

because his original pitch for Shelby Oaks. It was just a very scary well-written story At the end of the day that’s all we’re ever looking for right. It’s great stories and he nailed it. The exorcist is just a movie about a mom who has no idea what’s happening to her daughter and that’s horrifying. But there’s also you know there’s demon and it’s cool when it comes to Shelby Oaks.

I Wanted To Kind Of Draw On That

very human confusion take something that feels real dramatic characters that feel fleshed out and then add the the horror aspect to it. I’ve always loved practical monster effects creature effects. I just wanted to have something like that in my film We are really lucky to. David Greathouse living here in Ohio already and he’s got this amazing studio and he’s an insanely talented effects artist makeup creature design. He was excited about the project and so it all just worked out full on gore the wrist slash and then if it needs pumped up with a drop to a cg fine, but we’re going to go for as much as we can practically I would I in the script.

She Backs All The Way Up But Onto

the ground to this bar okay with her legs still out right I just want everything to go smoothly. We have a shot list that we’re we’re pretty happy with and we have a great crew and a great team of so many people that I’ve met so far. Everyone is just awesome so that’s great and I’m excited about that so our actors arrived on thursday they. Started by getting their fittings, They met with Shauna, our wonderful costume designer and you know started getting their looks put together and trying to put together.

You Know A Nice Look Board Of The

different type of looks throughout the film so that we’re establishing three characters UK Jess, Robert and Mia so that’s exciting so far it’s been very encouraging seeing the responsiveness and the work ethic has been pretty stellar. The art team is just killing it. I’m so excited about what Chris Hare Sarah sharp you know all of them are doing it’s really impressive. There’s a lot of attention to detail and we need to have it because it’s a huge lift, but there’s still so much to go.

Ive Never Had People Build A

set before for me so that’s going to be one of those things. I just don’t think it’s real until. I see it attic implies this way and living room in general, I’m just very excited to get going it’s been a very long road of pre-production. We’ve had a lot of false starts.

There Were Many Times Where We Thought We

were going to shoot. We didn’t shoot but honestly. I’m glad that happened because it gave us so much more prep time and just the ability to really sit back and look at everything with the fine-tooth comb and make sure we were trying to make the best film we can at our level that we’re able to make it on so I’m just ready to go You.
