just about any chick unless you’re gross you’re gonna get hit on by mail comics and like I remember when I was starting out. I like bleep loved it. You know I’m just like yes bring it on because I needed all of the attention like part of me still does um where at what point were you finding like Oh man. I’m starting to get like a lot of Dms or attention from other male comics like because it’s such a balance too because like I remember starting out like I know I would I would like get some spots like just because I’m like the token girl and then you know Oh. This guy has a crush on me.

I think like everybody you know has has their advantages and disadvantage right like because you hear all the time oh it’s so hard to be a female comic and whatever I think it’s like some things are hard about and some aren’t so I don’t know okay let me go to my back to my original question like when did you start being like Oh man my like tms were getting kind of flooded. I’m getting hit up a lot um I will okay first. I think in comedy there’s like a group of guys that totally like praise on whoever the new comic is there and you see you watch them as you like have been doing stand stand-up for longer you watch them with every group of like new females that comes in and I feel like that part is really gross and what feels like good. You very quickly realize is shitty and the other thing about comics is like a lot of them are like mentally disturbed, so they’re they’re like their attention is like nagging and that sucks so they’re like you know what I mean they’re like Oh, She’s hot let me insult her.

Yeah, Just like I guess objectifying comments. I have gotten some bleep weird cameo requests lately and that has been annoying what kind of what kind of requests. Oh my God Chrissy.

I talked about this on the last episode, but I basically got a cameo request from this guy that said he had a dream that I was bullying him and giving him wedgies and swirlies and like could I make fun of. him for for having that dream Okay so this guy’s like into humiliation for sure so like yeah, I I talked to. How far after does his girlfriend message you quickly here’s the thing. I I I think this guy I should not be talking about this, but I don’t care about anything anymore. I I feel bad for her.

like. I looked him up and I was like Oh my. God he has a bleep wife or a girlfriend Like this is bleep up that he’s like requesting cameo things. This is bleep and I think when we talked about on the podcast maybe to her. It sounded like we liked him, but okay we were making fun of him because doing that is insane So I guess the message she sent was like you know I don’t know it was it was weird.

It’s like all that on you all better off because one guy I remember this like a couple years ago. Some guy was like oh would you sell nudes and I was playing along. I was like let me see. like fifty dollars for one nude and so he sent me even me the money and I sent him a nude photo of a random dude. I was like here’s your nude enjoy and he’s like. How dare you how dare you rip off? I’m a poor grad student. He goes into victim mode. I’m like laughing my bleep ass off You never said a nude of me.

nudes You’re like I’m a new dealer. I’m a male nude. I was like maybe I’m just like like an art dealer. You know maybe I’m a an aggregator. So this guy was like cursing me out and and then I remember I think I went on some podcast and talked about like oh you should have refunded I’m like no.

money. He’s a bleep creep. I’m like no he should he should be. This is called a lesson. This is called like and if you are a broke grad student like you should not be spending is any dollars on nudes.

the whole Internet full of free nudes, so it just confuses me because there’s people that are directly selling nudes. They’re. They have only fans accounts that are set up so they will take news specifically for you. Why would you go to someone that is not marketing themselves that way and ask it’s just inappropriate exactly and it’s so interesting that like the point you brought up about this creepy guy and like your feelings and you’re like you do feel kind of conflicted because a similar thing happened to me like probably like a year year and a half ago, and this was like you know you’ve like what the more things I love about you is like you’re not afraid to go on compound media.

At This Point, I Think Youve Been

on almost every compound media show for for like a three-year comic you’re bleep crushing. In terms of appearances you’ve done in hot water, I think you’ve done mine show if you haven’t like you will very soon um we’ve done morning you’ve done Don Jameson’s show Larry Larry on Larry’s show Let’s get loud and um so you’ve done all these shows so so you’re familiar with the compound media fans um they can sometimes be like rowdy but like they’re they’re loyal if they like you they’ll stick up for you if someone’s trashing you online or on twitter they’ll like totally come to your defense like they’re great in that way so I had a compound media fan. He was like you know mostly like public tweets or whatever and then they seemed like regular ish tweets, but then I had like his wife like Dm’d me and she was just like like I remember she told me like um it’s. like and now I’m thinking do I want to out out this person.

Oh Its Awkward Right Yeah.

I hope they don’t reach out to me again. This is bad but and this is this person’s wife and I just like and you know we get so many messages and tweets. It’s hard to keep track, but clearly this wife was like feeling away like she she clearly felt like her husband was like messaging me or tweeting at me in a way that was inappropriate .

He Might Have Also Been Like I Forget

to sometimes people send me DMs and I just go okay Lol like I’ll respond but I’m not really emotionally invested like I I to me. I just it feels like customer service and like tweeting back at somebody’s like this is part of engagement like twitter engagement and building fans so but clearly. This wife is telling me like you know I feel uncomfortable like I just makes me feel away when he tweets at you and so now I’m like now. I’m bleep in the middle of your of your marital issues here like and it just and then I noticed like from then on I was like okay I will stop replying to to this guy.

Steves Tweets Like If It Makes I Mean

I kept it in the back of my mind like I’m not here to pull apart a bleep marriage. You know right and then from then I just never responded to Steve’s tweets and I was like okay right because I’d see his hand on a big oh. He’s got that wife, who’s like feels away so it’s it’s tricky to know like at what point is it kind of like our responsibility as like entertainers to like manage our fans, you know and it’s something I hadn’t really had to deal with.
