Ive Been Reading This Old Lincoln Pamphlet

that was published by the National Park Service in 1950. What he’s saying in here is it’s in the Lincoln Douglas debates he’s railing on slavery. He says look we’re no different in the south. He said if the rolls were reversed and all this all the slaves were up in the north you can’t tell me that the northerners wouldn’t be fighting for slavery now and the southerners would be saying it’s wrong. It’s not the people I’m not looking for blame on how it started.

We Just Know That Its Evil And

it has to stop but it doesn’t mean that the people are evil. We’re our fellow countrymen and I’m thinking to myself here is slavery. There’s nothing more obviously evil than slavery and look at how he dealt with it. I don’t see any politicians dealing that way and that’s how we have to be it’s funny because when you blame you’re living in the past as opposed to fighting for solutions now and you see that it’s so that becomes partisan. So you see that now even with your border issues everybody wants to take sides in his hand blame as opposed to feeding children and looking to do just what’s right and it’s the same type of analogy.

  • slaves north tell northerners
  • douglas debates railing slavery says
  • slavery obviously evil

  • slavery says look different south

Like People Cant Just Focus On Whats Right

today as opposed to Oh, But this is Democrat. This is a republican. This is they did this they did that it’s difficult to get out of our heads and into our hearts.
