I mean by the way politically speaking just a complete repudiation of the idea that you cannot campaign on really explicitly progressive campaign themes and not win and win in America there’s this idea. Oh if the campaign is too far left you can’t win in America. I mean Barack Obama, everyone forgets now you go back and you read what he was promising Americans back in 2008. I mean it was basically effectively a new new deal.

He Comes In Raises Expectations, And Then He

proceeds to spearhead an administration that if we’re being really honest about it bailed out wall street. The people who perpetuated the problem. The crisis didn’t prosecute those people while 10 million people were thrown out of their homes and he fortified a private health insurance industry that was the great achievement. The Affordable Care Act, which functionally speaking enriched and fortified the power of the private health insurance industry. By the end of that presidency, what was it 200 plus counties who that had voted twice for Obama flipped to trump and my question is what did you expect was going to happen?
