Sell You Man The More I See You

Tom Cruise like apart from his not East religious beliefs like Ah the more I respect the guy and the more I just like him. I I said this before he is the last like genuine like Satan movie star that like I would go and see a movie with him in it at this point and yeah man it’s like things like top gun. Maverick has proven that he’s still an absolute force to be reckoned with at the box office at 60 years old. He’s 60. he’s 60 years old Wow it’s crazy.

I Mean He Looks Younger Than Me,

but you know that’s that’s the power of science behind you power of you know whatever his Beauty regime is he’s got like all the money for all the different. I don’t know moisturizers fluids who knows what who knows. Who knows but who cares you know yeah exactly he’s able to keep doing this stuff. He does his stunts you know he does death Define things like this Yeah He’s all strapped into it. I’m sure but like he’s still hanging off a plane at the end of the day.

Like Thats Some Thats Some Impressive Right There

yeah it’s not like they had to convince him to do this like oh we really need you to hang off a plane for this promo no and his his he was so good in Top Gun Maverick that I really forgot all about Scientology. I forgot about like who he is as a as a person and that’s how it should be is like your performance should take you out of you know who you are and you know what people know you for in your personal life. I think. So I mean the the smartest thing he’s done over the past several years is just to stop talking about it and people just kind of let it go. You know it’s like fine.

You Can Believe Whatever You Want

in your personal life, But if it doesn’t interfere with the movies that you make and you know you’re just able to be this on-screen icon Yeah believe whatever you want in your personal life great we don’t mind um a lot of actors nowadays could take us so many cues from him for real um I want to bring up this article because this was I wonder if it’s the same guy but Top Gun Maverick Aerial coordinator. I always I think every word I’m seeing the word anal but it’s not. It’s Ariel well that’s maybe there’s a bit of projection there but I’m objecting I’m projecting my. Desires okay Ariel coordinator shares challenges he ran into on the TOm Cruise movie and why he’s especially proud of the final sequence. Let’s see yeah one of the big ways that the movie that the sequel stands out is the dazzling aerial sequences.

Following The Footsteps Of Those Who Worked

on the original TOp Gun. They opted to take to this guy to put the actors in these planes rather than overly rely on UK. But there were certain challenges that came off to pulling off these moments which I learned about from Kevin UK who’s the aerial coordinator who informed me about why he’s especially proud of the final sequence. Foreign see here he said well I would think the biggest challenge is everything on top gun. MAverick has a lot of new technology, new cameras, new lenses, new camera gambles on the Jets Oh right yeah new.

Jet Platforms That Have Never Been Used

before to film the movie, So there’s a giant emphasis on trying to raise the bar as far as aerial cinematography. In order to do that we had a lot of new equipment and with the new equipment things break things need to be tested modified. We have really great people to that could make that happen on the Fly Haha no pun intended so we could keep working. I think that’s the biggest challenge is having so much new equipment, mounting that equipment on the sides of the F-18s and inside of the F-18s. That was all new stuff our team did a really good job and then you notice something like UK where you’re like Oh God like not only is the UK really noticeable, but it looks like UK from like a decade or so ago it looks like ass.

No Getting Around That But You Know

they’re they’re two slightly different things in the with UK you’re trying to make a person look realistic on screen a UK person and it’s I guess symptomatic of where Marvel is right now where their resources are split between you know 20 different projects that are all running simultaneously. Every UK house in Hollywood is probably working like triple shifts to try and render all this stuff and it’s all just done cheaply and quickly and it just looks like you know people’s character people’s mouths Don’t match up with what they’re actually saying um the light doesn’t shine on them properly and all that stuff. But it it filters through to the movies as well where they they keep touting This volume um UK system that they’ve got which is basically just a giant surround UK that projects around whatever Sound. Stage the actors are on so instead of it being a green screen that they can’t see it’s like you know they can actually have whatever alien planet or whoever it is. They want to show projected around them and so that’s what you see so the idea The idea is great for the actors because they can at least see what they’re acting against, but it still looks fake and know there’s limits to what you can do.

Practically Obviously Thats Thats Just Something That

you have to deal with, but it gets to the point where they even like we saw in UK the behind the scenes bit where they have their office and it’s not even an office in a real building. It has to have like the the screen around that that you can project because they couldn’t even be bothered like just filming in an actual office. Somewhere it’s easier to do it this way and it just becomes so lazy. It never looks quite right. You can tell it’s not real and um it just takes you out the experience more and more and it just starts to feel like this assembly line.

Product Thats Just Getting Churned Out One

show one movie after the other and then you watch something like top gun Maverick where you know that they’re in real Jets and just little things with how the react how the actors move as the Jets go up and over like you know obstacles or whatever it might be or pull these crazy maneuvers. You know that they’re not just pretending like they’re actually getting jolted. around like that because it’s real and it just totally immerses you in the movie. You can appreciate the sheer work that went into that that is great that is the kind of magic of movie making that I really appreciate and so many other people do too and I guess it’s it’s great to see that it can still be done um I just want to see more of it please do you think a lot of it has to do with Tom Cruise’s oversight. I mean you would think I mean obviously Marvel they can hire the best and you do you think the guys that are even that are working on say UK and they see the bad UK going down or at least they see the reviews after the fact do you think they have any say in the matter if they’re like hey we’re working.

On This Like You Know How

much can they really make a difference? Who do you think is ultimately making these decisions It’ll be the you know the higher ups of the studio. I guess because I’ve personally spoken to people that worked on Marvel UK shows and they they don’t have to say in it like when you get down to the director level and stuff. They are given the mandate to produce this thing along certain criteria and they can’t deviate from that and it must be tremendously frustrating for those guys because it’s like they are just they’re working on an assembly line that’s all they’re doing they’re putting the pieces together. They might have a tiny bit of control over the order that they put them together in or whatever but that’s all they got and yeah like a guy like TOm Cruise is able to commission movies on the strength of his name alone, so he can get them made exactly the way he wants to get them made you know like with top Gun Maverick with the Mission Impossible movies he’s in large part in control of that and so he’s obviously got the experience and he’s got the instincts now as an actor to know what people want what they enjoy and to consistently push what’s possible from a from a stunts point of view because again he knows it’s what people appreciate um so I know which kind of production I would rather work on that’s for sure yeah I mean ever since I remember that first.

You Know Like The Little Pre-Seen

before top gun Maverick and it really meant a lot I was like Wow Tom Cruise is actually he’s coming out like he’s thanking the the movie Watchers. He’s thanking the fans for coming out like I don’t know that I feel like I’m never gonna forget that because that’s really that’s super meaningful and I’m not really seeing that on other films and it’s just I’m like you know what I’m willing to overlook that you’re a Scientologist because like you’re you’re really you value the the customer here for for an actor like that you know as famous as he is and as successful as he is to show that little bit of humility and just actually thank the audience for coming to see his movie like you say it just goes so far and it seems like such a rare thing. Where you actually get that attitude from from actors from directors and stuff? Now it’s the poor opposite where they seem intent on antagonizing their audiences. You know if they take any kind of criticism, then it all just gets reflected back on the people that dare to speak up against their film and um what what kind of attitude does that demonstrate and what kind of atmosphere does it create Amongst the fan base it’s poison absolute poison do you think someone like Tom Cruise will actually you know come across reviews like someone like you or do you think he’s on the pulse of people’s reactions to right whether it’s terrible UK UK or identity politics coming into the the storyline and do you think he like I wonder if he just is so good and wants to create a good product and always kind of has been.

Or Its Like Wow Its Even More Important

at this time to to offer the fan something really good that’s not full of basically yeah it could go either way. I mean it could be that he’s like super tuned into the the prevailing moot online and stuff and he actually takes notice of this stuff or it could be that he’s just an old-school action star who wants to do old school movies and he doesn’t see the need to change them. I mean either way I’m fine with it like I’m happy that he’s producing what he’s.
